Our wishes for our less fortunate children and elderly folk this winter is food, medicine & warmth, a blanket to keep them warm…
You can share your warmth with 423 vulnerable children and 150 elderly folk facing some of the harshest conditions we’ll see all year by helping us bless them with blankets, mattresses, winter clothes, socks, shoes, food and medicine.
Your act of kindness this winter can give someone in need the basics to survive. Your donation could change their life. For our children and elderly folk life is a constant struggle, especially during the winter season. Unfortunately for them, winter has become a nightmare. For many there is a fear of inability to feed themselves, access medicine, sufficient bedding, or just simple warmth.
We are asking you to please consider donating blankets, mattresses, winter clothes, socks, shoes, food and medicine to our worthy recipients at Fred and Martie’s Soup Kitchen. Your humble generosity will be the source of warmth for our children and elderly folk that are struggling to survive the cold days and freezing nights. Included below is our Winter Wish List for your ease of reference.
Your blanket can be the spark that helps make their winter warmer. Your kind consideration will help the most vulnerable in our community to survive this winter. The blankets, mattresses, winter clothes, socks, shoes, food and medicine donated by you help keep them warm, we may not always realize it but these blankets protect them against some life threatening conditions.
