Johannes Christiaan Oberholzer

Johannes redefined the meaning of love in action when he joined Fred and Martie’s Soup Kitchen as the Chairman 5 years ago. His passion to uplift and instill a sense of pride and worthiness in less fortunate people is what drives him to take Fred and Marties’ Soup Kitchen to great heights. His qualifications in Theology, Biblical Counselling and Operational Management combined with his love and passion for people inspires him to leave no stone unturned in achieving the objectives of Fred and Martie’s Soup Kitchen.
Yolindie Oberholzer: Welfare Worker

Yolindie fell in love with charity when she was only a teenager. Inspired by her parents Fred and Martie the founders of Fred and Martie’s Soup Kitchen 43 years ago. Yolindie developed a deep passion for charitable work from a young age. In her upbringing she learned that charity is not about time, it is about eternity. Yolindie has been leading the Team as Welfare Worker at Fred and Martie’s Soup Kitchen for the past 10 years. Her qualifications in leadership, people management, fund management and counselling combined with her passion and love for people is what drives her to continually seek opportunities to improve the lives of less fortunate people.
